Nickelodeon celebrates Blue's Clues 25th anniversary with new movie

Nickelodeon says it is making a new movie featuring stars of Dejection Clues & You! to gloat the 25th anniversary of the original show that was a mainstay of the network for several years.

The film, which volition showtime production this summertime, follows Josh and Blueish every bit they travel to New York City to audition for a Broadway musical. Information technology'due south not clear when it will exist prepare, a spokeswoman said on Monday (Jul 12).

Nickelodeon has several other activities planned to marking the Sep 8, 1996, premiere of the original Bluish's Clues, which aired half dozen seasons' worth of originals. The celebration includes a music video featuring current star Josh Dela Cruz and former Blue'due south Clues hosts Steve Burns and Donovan Patton.

Some original episodes of Bluish'southward Clues can be seen on the Paramount+ streaming service and, per Monday's annunciation, more than will exist made available to coincide with the anniversary. The bear witness was rebooted as Blue'south Clues & You and is currently in its 2nd season.
